Will WSU's reign of being a relevant team nationally and in the big sky and as a playoff team continue? 2010 is 2 time Payton candidate QB Cam Higgins' senior year.
When will WEBER State's Reign End? WSU hadn't done much in football til we hired Ron McBride who just finished his 5th season at Weber with back to back playoff appearances. WSU has always been known for its basketball. Many thought WSU was a 1 and done season after 2008 (co-champs and got auto bid) and finished 2nd in 2009.

like i said, if you knew our fball history u'd call it that too.
the big sky started in 1963. we have 3 titles: 1965, 1968, 2008
50% of our playoff appearances have been in the last 15 months.

I think they scor....well at least they made it in......well, they made it to the stadium I guess. Sometimes it is the small victories that count Appa.

Yep...but to their credit, they are tied with UNI in regards to number of NC's....

Meh...we are closer than they are....We also have 14 conference titles to brag about...since 1985, they have 3 since the 60's.

As arrogant as the headline sounds, Weber has been good the last couple of years.
I was there when our 2008 team wasn't able to pull it off against Weber in the home playoff game. I wouldn't say you've had a reign however until a few more years on the top.

If Weber has a reign, then EWU has a dynasty, and the Griz are legends.

No Smith, No Toone, No Reign.

They'd better find a running back, or that "reign" will be over quick. Either that, or tell Cameron Higgins to stop chucking the ball into coverage.
I'd be surprised if Weber makes the playoffs in 2010. Montana, EWU, and possibly NAU all look better.

im not sure what to think for 2010 with trevyn smith our payton candidate graduated n his backup who made all american both gone. we need a runnning a game.
as for our no title for 40 straight years....well we've always been a bball school
the big sky started in 1963. to this day we claim 40% of all big sky titles on the hardwood.

And yet here we are on a football thread. You always like to pull that misdirection out but I am pretty sure you were talking about football at the start of this conversation...yep, I checked, you were.

When will EWU's dynasty of making the playoffs and nearly beating the Griz in Missoula almost every year end?
