For all of you Big South fans out there - did you miss this notice that CRONS uniforms has been named the official football uniform provider for the Big South?

I had never heard of this company and can't really find out a lot about them. If the Runnin' Bulldogs are going to be sporting this brand, I sure hope they are going to outfit our boys in style. I can't believe this came in under the radar screen like it did.

Anybody know anything about this company?

We might want to be careful about how we refer to this conference. There might be a connotation there that we might not want to apply to the schools of that conference....

That said, I'm not sure I like black pants. I just hope they don't have a black jersey to go with it. I'm not a fan of the Glanville look....

I think this is the key phrase in that release.

Crons will be the exclusive provider of the Big South Conference Championship apparel and gear for fans, championship participants and championship teams. The Crons Brand will be able to outfit Conference teams in all sports in game uniforms, practice and workout gear, and travel apparel.

Several Big South schools already have existing contracts to provide uniforms and apparel with major companies (Nike, Adidas, etc.,). The deal with Crons seems to be more a deal to provide conference-licensed items and not necessarily the teams themselves.

If the players have an alergic reaction to the new uni's, does that mean that they are cronically ill?

Logo on the helmet needs to be modernized, they look goofy. Kind of like Fresno State's.
