1. As a lawyer, I acknowledge Starks' right to be proven guilty.

2. As a Citadel graduate, I am deeply disappointed to see one of our kids doing something incredibly stupid. And, I know Starks is not the first.

3. As the father of a kid playing college football, I understand that there are kids that have plenty of money and there are kids that don't.

4. As a human being, I just don't understand all of these stupid gun crimes.

And now, through an updated news article, we discover that he is robbing an assistant coach. Someone who sees him on a daily basis - if Starks is not guilty, he's too stupid to graduate from The Citadel.
