It is the same MCL injury that he had late in the season. His medical exams will be crucial to his draft position.danefan wrote:That's got to hurt him.
Another injury.
As dumb as 95% of your jokes are, that one was funnyJayJ79 wrote:probably a good move.
He can't handle running at a lawn tractor.
running at a combine would probably kill 'im.
Whoever asked that is an absolute idiot. Why would he regret going to ASU? They probably asked it because it eats these narrow minded media members alive to learn that a small school prospect such as Armanti with that talent actually turned down FBS offers and CHOSE to play FCS.T-Dog wrote:He'll run the 40 hopefully at App's Pro Day.
Here's a quote from the presser yesterday.
- Appalachian State QB Armanti Edwards' response when asked if he regrets not going to an FBS school: "I'm standing up here ain't I?"
He handled himself well with his response. Still a stupid question though.SmallSchoolFan wrote:Whoever asked that is an absolute idiot. Why would he regret going to ASU? Had to have been a rogue Elon defensive end going after Armanti again.danefan wrote:That's got to hurt him.

AE: We just beat Michigan, plain & simple.
I have to agree this hit the funny-bone.... Actually an FCS player going into a combine draft has to have a "Wow" factor show off what they might bring to the next level. Tweaking a hammy is NOT a good move. Proving that he has not conditioned himself to be a wideout, running a route? every hear of stretching? dissapointed for him...tough as leather....clenz wrote:As dumb as 95% of your jokes are, that one was funnyJayJ79 wrote:probably a good move.

That's a great quote, and fitting for any FCS player.. you don't have to play FBS to play in the NFL. Hell, D2 QBs have gotten combine time recently as well.T-Dog wrote:He'll run the 40 hopefully at App's Pro Day.

QB Nathan Brown from UCA went to the combine, led his Senior Bowl team to 2 TDs, and had a teammate at the combine with him (UCA just finished transitioning from Division II). Fantastic quote by Edwards though. I'm sick of national medias belittling NCAA Division I players who play on a 60+ scholarship team.MrTitleist wrote:That's a great quote, and fitting for any FCS player.. you don't have to play FBS to play in the NFL. Hopefully they stick with that defense.Mountaineer wrote:Georgia Southern's was better.![]()
Nope. We will have four down lineman.Skjellyfetti wrote:Hopefully they stick with that defense.Mountaineer wrote:Georgia Southern's was better.![]()
Armanti Edwards
26/34 320 yards 3 touchdowns
6 rushes for 61 yards
52-16
Brett Elliot from Linfield (transferred from Utah) also went to the combine. I can't remember if Mike Reilly from Central WA went to the combine or not.UCABEAR wrote:QB Nathan Brown from UCA went to the combine, led his Senior Bowl team to 2 TDs, and had a teammate at the combine with him (UCA just finished transitioning from Division II). Dorks.
Guess that kind of moronic reporter questions will never end.
AE should never....ever...have to buy a drink for the rest of his life if an FCS alum or fan is in the bar for that answer...T-Dog wrote: - Appalachian State QB Armanti Edwards' response when asked if he regrets not going to an FBS school: "I'm standing up here ain't I?"
