That Red Sox jersey they found buried at the Yankee Stadium site a couple of years ago--anything like that happen in college football? I'm just thinking, JMU and UR getting stadium work, and I have a few Tribe feathers laying around somewhere. . .

I might go in the middle of the night and bury a CCU jersey on the 50 yard line of Charleston Southern and Liberty's fields. haha.

If you use feathers, I'm calling the NCAA.... :bad: :bad: :bad:

To be in compliance you will have to bury:

1) Colonel Ebirt

or

2) A real indian (sans feathers)

UNI has a sign over the visitors entrance with the record inside the dome. After Richmond beat UNI they kindly saved UNI the time and effort of changing the sign....they did it themselves.

Anybody can bring anything they want to Albany - whenever they've started pouring concrete I won't care.

We'll even take Jimmy Hoffa from the Meadowlands when they demolish it. Give the Giants a little piece of home during training camp.

Nothing of the sort at Delaware Stadium. They haven't touched the place in 50 years. If West Chester put something in the stadium during the Eisenhower administration, it didn't work, whatever it was.

Furman fans swear there's something evil buried in the south endzone at Kidd-Brewer.

But it did. West Chester buried a boomerang, guaranteeing that they would always get to return every year..

I'll send you a case of your favorite beer if West Chester is still on the schedule in 2015.

Call it morbid but if they're calling it Tubby Raymond Field, why not bury the old Tub underneath the field.

Supposedly we are supposed to be getting a turf field at the coliseum as it would be a very nice addition to our stadium. Also i think a new scoreboard would be a nice touch. Other then that just a more loyal fan base would be nice :thumb:

You'll have a tough time "digging" thru our field.

Southern's supposed to be getting field turf. And to keep with the spirit of the thread looks like the Jags buried their football program when they built that fieldhouse.

A bit with the topic, but supposedly, and really I have no idea if this is true, there's a capsule somewhere at Ballard Stadium, the Football Offices, or Athletic Department that has a letter signed by our first team that'll be given to and opened by the first ODU team that wins a National Championship. Wouldn't it be awesome if they wrote a letter to themselves?
