The Dukes will enter the spring practice down one running back...

James Madison football head coach Mickey Matthews on Tuesday announced the dismissal of sophomore running back Corwin Acker (Landover, Md./Blake) from the team due to a violation of team rules.

Matthews commented, “Many people at JMU attempted to help Corwin improve both academically and athletically. Things did not work out and we wish him best in his future endeavors.
