Can't count Marshall. First off, they're not in the conference any more...and even when they were, they were a I-A team masquarading as a I-AA team.

You don't have to go too far to dig them up UMan because they are under the "History" tab on the top of the page.

:ohno:

You don't play against a conference, you play against a team. All of you CAA haters have to stop lumping all the CAA teams together and treat them all separately. ;)

Okay then, 1-1.

Here's the App vs CAA in the playoffs breakdown

vs UR, 3-1
vs JMU, 2-0
vs W&M, 1-0
vs UD, 1-0
vs UMass, 1-0
vs UNH, 1-0
vs Maine, 0-1

We clearly own the CAA. :coffee:

No shit man. That is embarassing for those teams individually and as a whole. Poor bastards, look at em'. :(

The Black Bears are the only team that can hold their heads high in this discussion.

Another category in which we have fallen behind App... :x

We had a 7-2 record, but then UConn leaves for the FBS, we lose to UNH, and Hofstra quits football and now we are at 5-3.

That's fuckin' hilarious. One of the two CAA victories over ASU (and prior to last year, the ONLY CAA victory over ASU) is by vaunted Maine.

Maine was top 15 when they came to Missoula AZ and they aren't what I would consider a shit team but they are also not the one you would have to expect to have the victory.

Up until the ODU uprising, Maine was my #2 FCS team, because I remember them in the "good ol' days" when they were very competitive. The last part of your sentence was my real point. Of all the "heavyweights" in the CAA, the one that owned the victory was Maine. MAINE!

I skipped the Maine game (2002) to work as I thought it was a sure thing as far as a win goes.

Final score: 14-13.

But yeah, ASU has an excellent record against the CAA. Especially our whipping boys up in Harrisonburg.

And that game was in Boone. :ohno:

The UNH game was in Durham though.

The only conference App has struggled with in the history of the FCS is the fucking Southland.

I hate to say it, but we haven't done very well in the playoffs against the Big Fluffy either.
