Congratulations to Matt Szczur for being nominated for the 2010 Rare Disease Champion! Szczur was a bone marrow match to a 13-month girl and was willing to miss the 2009 championship to help save a life. Fortunately, the 13-month girl began to show improvements and Szczur was able to help lead VU Football to its first championship. Still, his selflessness hasn't gone unnoticed.
