It looks like since Keeler at UD rather not play FBS schools anymore...DSU is picking up the slack. This is hilarious because I was already planning on moving out to Fort Wayne so I would be closer to my daughter in Michigan, then I find out that the Hornets are playing at Bloomington that year too? First Michigan and now this? Someone in the scheduling office is stalking me

A good opponent, y'all shouldn't get beat 55-6 or whatever.......just make sure you play the full compliment of MEAC games that year.

Check the CAA vs the BCS the past few years. Not so much Keeler as it is the BCS schools no longer see guaranteed wins at the upper levels of the FCS. Hence the Big Ten's interest in DSU. They love guaranteed wins. Sorry but facts can sometimes be a cruel thing.

So which MEAC team is getting a free conference win in 2011?

believe me, i am not naive in the slightest about the Big Ten's motivation in playing the schools like mine. But I do know for a fact that Keeler has stated on multiple occasions to the media of his desire to play an all-FCS schedule. And if we can benefit from that with the increased paydays, and exposure from playing team at the top-tier FBS conferences, who am I to complain? I hope it continues.

its on the 24th which is Week 3 or 4 I believe. its in our non-conference window.

Keeler also favors scheduling DSU. UD makes as much if not more from playing that game at home than they would playing IU on the road.

IU isn't that much of a football school, although they've made some small strides lately. DSU might beat the spread on this one!

But winning? Feh.

Heck, DSU might actually pocket more from playing UD than they will with Indiana. Michigan's one thing, but can the payout from Indiana be very good?
