How is recruiting going?

At Lafayette we appear to be having one of our best recruiting classes in recent memory.
We landed a big TE from Ohio who had offers from Eastern Michigan, Elon, SBU and others.
http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/v ... 87@aol.com
We also have commitments from two Central Florida top 100 players (most of these players have FBS scholly offers).
We have a O-linemen from PA who will be playing in the Big 33 game. The PL gets few Big 33 guys.
We will announce officially tomorrow, but this is shaping up to be an above average class

Rivals says We have 2 commits.... know there is more.....FCS is a lot like Poker no one wants to show there hand pending a late minute offer....

I think we have about eight or nine 2 stars. Though none of the Montana kids ever get a rating (or look) from Scout or Rivals and they make up a significant number of our recruits.

Hard to tell about Dzurko (I assume that's who you're talking about - may have misspelled the name). He was apparently waiting on an offer to come from either UD or UNH but never got one and had to go with the Lafayette option. As for the Big 33 game, his inclusion may also be helped by the fact that the North Penn head coach is coaching the squad this year. It'll be interesting to see how he turns out.

Either way the kid is a good player who should be a quality PL lineman. His final two were Lafayette and Holy Cross.

Analysis:
Deche, an amazing route runner with great hands, amazing hips and change of direction and seemless route running. How bout this, he doesn't drop passes, period! Oh did i mention he can play corner and safety as well, a great athlete who makes great plays. In addition to being one of the most decorated NUC athletes of all time, he is an athlete who just dominates at all level. I have seen him compete with and against the best and he always shines....he has very good speed and those of you who know athletes at the NUC if you run 4.6 at the NUC you are legit! I cant say enough good things about this receiver and his general strength and attitude make him more appealing. He has a few D-1 offers, but should have 10!
26-30- big time d-1 prospect
21-25- D-1 Prospect
18-21-1aa Scholarship prospect
14-17-DII Prospect
10-13-DIII Level Prospect

Hold the phones...apparently UD just gave Dzurko a schollie when Frost bagged out on us. Rumor has it Dzurko will be signing with the Hens tomorrow.

Guys over at gohens were right - he was holding out all along for an offer from UD, and when it became available when Frost changed his verbal to Rutgers, the dominoes just fell.
