Re: FCS Sightings
I saw Montana basketball Jerseys on sale at the Target in American Fork Utah of all places. I did a double take and took a picture I was so shocked. I guess maybe we are branching out and doing more marketing?

Re: FCS Sightings
I saw what looked like the App State equipment truck at a Taco Bell in Winston-Salem this morning. Did the TB in Boone close?
Re: FCS Sightings
Couple of FCS notes:
1. I saw a Marine with an App State tire cover on his Jeep on Marine Base Quantico this week. I couldn't get in good enough position to flick a booger on the windshield.
2. I was wearing a Georgia Southern hat at the NRA Range shooting yesterday afternoon and the guy a couple lanes down asked me about the hat. He wasn't very familiar with GSU, but when I told him I went to UofD, he went on a long rant about Joe Biden culminating in "that sumbitch knows better than to come in this place!" That could probably have been construed as a felony threat, but I just let it go.

Visited our daughter last weekend in the Hampton, VA area and, although we spent a fair amount of time downtown near Hampton U's campus (including a crowded evening concert), I did NOT see a single Hampton t-shirt or cap.

Yeah, was in the 40's one evening a week ago. Watching kids' baseball, you'd think it was football season.93henfan wrote:You guys are already wearing sweaters up there?Cap'n Cat wrote:Watched a chick in a North Dakota State tee sporting impossibly big tits trying to pull a thin sweater over them in a New Richmond, WI, McDonald's.

Right after I posted that, we went into an extended period of very pleasant weather. Cool and dry. It was only 61 degrees when I went outside this morning.Cap'n Cat wrote:Yeah, was in the 40's one evening a week ago. Watching kids' baseball, you'd think it was football season.93henfan wrote:

Re: FCS Sightings
UNI has a lot of alumni in Colorado - specifically the Denver/Boulder area.mtjack wrote:Saw a U Northern Colorado (not suprisingly) and a U Northern Iowa shirt last week while visiting friends in Boulder, CO.
TBH and I went on our honeymoon out there and between our 9 days in Estes and Denver we probably saw a couple dozen people in UNI shirts....
Doesn't sound like many, but for a school of 13k who is a clear third, WAY BEHIND Iowa and Iowa State in fan base, it's pretty cool to see that.
Most likely cities to see UNI shirts (other than the state of Iowa) would be Chicago, Madison, Omaha, Denver, and Kansas City

Yeah, was checking in for our flight back to Mpls from Denver and the girl in front of us was a tall, beautiful UNI VB player. Didn't get her name, though. Was traveling with her dad and he didn't seem to be happy some old bald fucker was trying to make conversation with her. Told her I graduated in 1986. Her reply: "Oh, God! I wasn't even born then!"clenz wrote:UNI has a lot of alumni in Colorado - specifically the Denver/Boulder area.mtjack wrote:Saw a U Northern Colorado (not suprisingly) and a U Northern Iowa shirt last week while visiting friends in Boulder, CO.
