For some reason it has been a rumor that N. Iowa is on the verge of backing out of this game. Talk to some people and from the coaches feeback they are not telling why N. Iowa are wanting out. the coaches are already looking for a replacement game. Its probably going to be Montana State!

I wouldn't be shocked if we are trying to find an easier game. Our schedule is a bitch and a half right now.

I'm sure you must be mistaken because what I've heard from the shitdick N. Iowa fans (not the good ones) is that this would never happen. In fact even though they did it to Montana they like to make these out to be a huge deal so there is no way this is possible. They speak of integrity every time this comes up so you know that your coaches must have this wrong.

Whatever happens with UNI I hope you guys get the game filled in with MSU, that would be a very interesting matchup also.

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be shocked if we are looking for a St. Francis like game again for this year.


With all the new faces we will have starting I think they are going for experience getting games...especially with Iowa State the next week.

These sources came from some of the sfa players of what the coaches have been telling them. so yeah maybe there is some truth behind it. I hope not, i think this would be a great game for both teams.

That's an honest assessment clenz and I would think it's a smart move for UNI. AZ's being a dickface but to act like SFA is not a quality team is pretty dumb. We got all over em' that time but I doubt it would be a blowout like that in the next 4 of a five game series. C'mon AZ, stop kicking people when they're down.

I also haven't heard any rumors at work, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. If true, I would bet that it we are trying to get a game on the fourth.

hmmmm. That would be a tough start for MSU with away games at NIU and Washington State. MSU would only have 5 home games with the signing of a probable D2 and the powers that be have expressed that 6 home games are needed every year especially a non grizzly year. I'm sure a home and home series starting in Bozeman is out of the question for NIU?

Hosting SFA would be great this year. We were told last week that the MSU schedule should be finalized this week (but we were also told the same thing about a month ago ). Time will tell I guess.

UNI has already officially announced the 2010 schedule, and season tickets were to have gone on sale today.
Of course, that doesn't eliminate the possibility of changes, but they have at least officially announced the SFA game.

This would be great to get SFA into Bozeman again. Very good and interesting matchup As for schedules being annouced, a few years ago MSU had announced their schedule and season tickets had already started going out when they announced a change. I forget who backed out or who was replaced on the schedule, but that is when we played Cal Davis ( ). They just told us the old tickets with the old opponents would work to get into the game. I hope this is true!!
