Two OOC FCS at home, no Delaware, no back-to-back road games, and a breather before the playoffs. Can't ask for much more than that!

Not a winnable FBS game this year. The streak will end.

7-4 is my prediction.

Still might be enough to get into an expanded playoffs

I predict 6-5. The wild card is the JMU game. :coffee:

What's the largest crown Maines had? Could a night game on this date push that?

The 2 largest crowds that I've seen in the "new" Alfond Stadium were grand opening night vs. UNH and the game vs. Montana.........both were at night. I doubt that Maine will draw more than those games which were 9,000+. It most certainly will be the best attended game of the season though.....especially if it is a night game. I'm guessing that it most likely will be a 6:00pm start.

In '08 Maine went with $5.00 tickets to try to fill the place. The weather put a stop to that. I'm sure we'll see a night game and look to hear about some other ways they come up with to get a big crowd. Now about the weather...

Are you kidding.......they got 5,000+........that was the largest crowd ever for a November game! The weather will be fine.......probably no different than Durham, NH. ;) Despite rumors to the contrary, Orono, Maine is not Nome, Alaska.

They would have had many many more if not for the weather. I'd love to be part of 10,000+ next October. (My group will be close to 50 of them)

Jon, as someone with Illinois roots you should know it's dangerous to put too much faith in Wanny. :D

Pitt has been very good lately and I actually like Wanny but he's still Wanny and usually good for at least one complete choke job during the season. I'm hoping that this year it happens against UNH and then he runs the table.
