Not digging the two non-conference games. But it's not for a lack of trying.

Opening the season with a conference game is pretty odd.
Jacksonville and NC Central are pretty weak games, but the Florida game at the end of the season is a good one.
Win the SoCon and ASU is likely looking at a two-week bye after the Florida game before the playoffs.

Hey now, all those games are DI games and they count toward the DI playoffs.
Just remember, in 2013, when we go back to Montana, we also go to Georgia.
You can't have a winner every year. Especially in a 9-team conference with a fan base that demands 6 home games.

Really poor choices for OOC games IMHO - I don't know why we're playing NCCU again this year, even though it's at home. Hell, these may be good tests for us in the post AE era although I feel pretty solid about the rest of the team. I don't know much about J'ville except we beat them pretty badly a couple of years ago, but that's history now. I think we'll be down slightly (maybe) due to the loss at QB, but I don't know how good some of the prospects are at QB. Defense shouldn't falll much, we'll still have a stable of RB's, Quick and Hillary are back, so we've got a decent shot at a repeat SoCon title.
GSU - rebuilding, learning a new system W
Citadel - lost Roberts, not sure who else W
Wofford - probably no repeat of H1N1, or the rash of injuries they had ?
Elon - lost Hudgins, but still have Riddle ?
Samford - played us pretty solid at home last year in the rain W
WCU - still rebuilding W
Chatty - moving on up W
Furman - not a clue W
I'll go 8-3 - losses to Florida, maybe two in conference. (subject to change later)

You want to play Florida for your last game before the playoffs? Didn't think so.

No, but I'd substitute our two D-I's for your two NAIA schools....that COUNT.

I'll take that as tacit admission of embarrassment over your scheduling. And trying to dress up that pile of shit by adding Florida to the end of it is LAME LAME LAME!!!!

Liberty beat NC Central no problem at all. App State should destroy them easily

Yeah - seeing how Appy St already played them this year (2009) and won 55-21, I don't see why next year should be any different.

AGS is 90% CAA homers. This place is 90% Big Sky homers.
Our OOC schedule is weaker than it has been in recent years. But... it's still better than whatever Montana puts together.

Nah, only 50% Big Sky homers here.

Now I understand Urban Meyer's panic attack last month--he saw Florida's 2010 schedule. A week 1 loss to App is one his team can recover from. Losing to App as the Gators play out the string on the way to the SEC championship game could blow any shot at the mythical national championship.

Nice try boy wonder. Jacksonville (Pioneer Champions) and NCCU (starting in the MEAC this year) are Div. I schools. It's ok, Montana was the second best team for the second year in a row...why do you care what people think of Montana's schedule?

Nah, just take it as a commentary on your being a whiny, little bitch.
I'm not dressing it up, it's a schedule, not too unlike other FCS programs. We can't get out of playing the SoCon teams, and ASU has to have to teams agree to come to Boone to get six home games. I'm not thrilled with the schedule, but I'm not embarrassed either. At least one of the teams in an in-state school. Our ticket prices are remaining the same as well...had they increased, I might be a little upset.
However, talk to me when Montana puts an FBS team on the schedule that's not your alma mater...

I'd say 90% Montana fan homers, the other big sky posters actually use some common sense.
