September 18: @ Sacramento State
EDIT: September 25: UC DAVIS (Note the change from "@SUU" on 9 Oct.)
October 2: EWU
October 9: OPEN
October 16: @ Idaho State
October 23: Portland State
October 30: Montana
November 6: @ Montana State
November 13: @ NAU
November 20: @ Texas Tech

FBS games at the start and end of the schedule and hosting the Great West champs in the middle of the season. Not bad if you have to play money games.

Davis is a good pickup and at home, too. Even if Southern Utah is improved, Davis should help you.

I agree. They have been one of the most over-rated teams out west since coming to FCS.

Just out of curiosity, why the switch from SUU to “the farm extension”? Has the SUU game been moved to a later year?

True - Weber is working up to that. First step - not returning away games.

Not sure how that's gonna work, seeing as how UC Davis is playing South Dakota on Oct 9, per USD schedule release on usdcoyotes.com.

Is it possible y'all play UCD on 9/25 and have your bye on 10/9?

We arent that bad, at least we are heading in the right direction :thumb: , once again the Weber/SUU rivalry is put on hold :ohno:

They get 5 home games instead of 4, though.

Exactly, even though I would like to see Weber vs SUU, i like having one more home game.

When they get to 6 or 7 home games they'll be in the griz class...........................

I was referring to “the farm extension”, not SUU.

BTW, Sac State still has an OOC spot to fill on 9/11 or 10/16. Any chance SUU would take a trip to Sacramento to play a game? With all the offensive skilled players returning next season, I’d hate to see a non-counter DII (Humboldt State or Southern Oregon) team used to fill the last spot.

And yet, the Boobscats could have 11 home games and they'd STILL never be in the Griz' class. :D :D :D

Rumor has it (and it is since not even our players know our OOC schedule right now) that we renewed the H/H with SUU :? . Our open dates remain 9/11, 9/18 & 9/25. How's this fit into the above equation? (I'm too tired to think)

Tired of losing to them?

Fits perfect, SUU also has 9/11, 9/18 and 9/25 open right now.

That's what I was afraid of. They do have our number (record is 4-6 in their favor but they have the recent edge) and until we get over it I don't look forward to this game, even if it would likely be at home this year. We finally got past the UCA thing...so we're due but, I'm not holding my breath.

Ah now i see, my bad for misunderstanding :thumb:. And honestly i think that would be a great game and could see it happening. We usually play a Big Sky school or two each year so it would make sense. Also rumor has it that Coach Lamb is trying to get straight D-1 schools this year hopefully meaning that if we win enough we could get an at large bid, he is really doing a good job in turning the program around.

And im starting to think that to, maybe we are getting a little to good for the Cats to risk playing us :thumb:

It would appear that SUU has the 20th of November still open, maybe we will all get lucky and Texas Tech will drop thier game with us, and Weber will instead play @ Southern Utah. It would be great having one last win before the playoffs. :thumb:

And apparently the Griz too, since as soon as you guys got decent you were replaced with Western State. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

The Schedules area of this forum, on the 20th Weber plays at Texas Tech, and on SUU's schedule it doesnt have a game on the 20th, but Im sure they will soon, and it wont be Weber :(

Its too bad, a rivalry game would be a great way to end the regular season for both teams.
