For those wondering why he has no bowl game invite part of the reason is because he is getting checked out next week about his MCL, which has been giving him problems. He played on a banged up MCL later in the season but not many people knew about it. If he checks out then I would expect to see him on the Texas vs. Nation or Senior Bowl roster. They have not nominated him for the TVN or SB until they know for sure on his knee. He does plan to run at the NFL Scouting Combine, though.

Just thought I would pass along that tidbit for ASU fans wondering what is going on with AE.

Thanks for the info. Even though he played well in the postseason, I can't say I'm surprised to find out he was hurt worse than the coaching staff let on. I don't know if it was simple gamesmanship or what, but they weren't straight with anyone about his status for three whole years. It makes what he was able to pull off in the playoffs at 80 percent with a bum MCL that much more impressive, so it's sort of like finding out after the fact that he hurt his shoulder in camp going into the Michigan game.

Is APP State coming out of the gates next year running a Pro-Set offense..?
