Your football squad is nothing more than an opponent's homecoming game, and your basketball program is a lead anchor that sinks the RPI of every other program in the league.

Most of what we heard (mostly from JMU folks) last season was "wait until you play VMI, then we'll see how you stack up" since JMU had played them. They wanted to see how we did against a common opponent.
