Coach Leaves: Beginning of Long Decline Of The Griz?

Sometimes, when programs start anew, there comes to be a decline of fortunes. The Griz will still likely recruit well, but new system, new coach, they could go the way of ILSU with a list of serial coaches ousted every four years (or less) with no better than 6-5 records, etc.

Will the Griz become the new Northern Colorado and will the wealth of conference titles alight in different Big Sky cities?

Discuss.

Since Don Read left in 1995 the Griz have had 3 coaches/schemes and they have been to 6 National Championship Games and umpteen Big Fluffy championships....no team can match that. Lets hope nothing changes (just more rings).

Well yeah, team CAA wins like 80 games every season. No wonder they have so many fans

And there is no way we lose 5 games. That would mean losing to teams like Sac State or NAU, and they are way to incompetent to let that happen.

You mean the NAU team that you needed a 54 yard FG to tie and gifts from the refs to beat?

No, the one that hasn't beat us in 12 years, and is unlikely to get it done in Wa-Griz next season. ;)

Did we think we'd go undefeated and make it to the NC this year? No. So do I think they will next year, who am I to judge?

Memory a little fuzzy, dback? The 54 yard FG was at the end of the first half. NAU tied it with a FG at the end of regulation.

And I think we can just file the "gifts from the refs" claim alongside such classics as the faking of the moon landing, 9/11 was an inside job, and the Zarkonian assassination of John F. Kennedy.

He really likes to hang on to that one mvem so I just giggle inside a little and let him have it. His revisionism is kinda cute in a sad sort of way.
