God knows UNLV needs some help. I could see Hauck being successful there.

Doesn't seem like much of a career move to me - born and bred in Missoula running one of the best programs in FCS to go to UNLV? They aren't even on the map in 1A. Maybe that and the $$ are the draw....

If Hauck's personal career goal, is to one time coach a top tier FBS team, then this is probably the route to go. I agree it looks to a bit of a down grade from the griz.

He'd have to build it into a winner then take a PAC10 job in 5 years
something like that - otherwise that's a dead end if they (UNLV) flounder and he does nothing as far as winning

And here it is. Two days ago he was going to San Jose , now he is going to UNLV, or should be fired for losing the chipper. The only thing better than a griz loss is the rumors about there coach. E-griz is saying he already signed with UNLV. They also said he Already signed with San Jose. Must be tough to coach two teams at the same time.

I would love to see if Bobby would have the same effect on a different team...

The rumor that Hauck will be fired is BS, the other two rumors are spot on. Truth is Hauck will be coaching three teams next year.

Don't forget they are also saying he will be an assistant coach for the Titans next year as well. He is going to be busier than Tiger woods...

Well, if the Rebels hire Hauck, Montana has some huge nostrils to fill.
