Ain't even a question that he is the most deserving. Congrats to him and all of the Appalachian fans that had the distinct pleasure of watching him perform. I got to see him once in person and it was like watching a magician with a football in his hand.

I feel very fortunate that I witnessed 36 of these in person Someone on the Mountaineer Message Board mentioned they were present for 46 of his games.

Congrats to AE. I only saw him play once, but he was something else. This year at Elon, he was pretty much unstoppable. He's a great player and he deserved the award more than any of the other candidates.

His impact on FCS football is arguably the greatest ever. He's a bit of a 'cross-over' artist, if you will.

I hope he suceeds in the NFL.
