Well worth the watch and great showing of FCS on ESPN.

It will be tough for the NC game to top this one. Great game by both teams. Lots of talent out there today.

I'm not really a fan of either team in the NC, but I'll pull for Montana so that they can have an undefeated season. Those are tough to come by, so it would be very special in addition to the NC.

Once again another painful trip to Montana. I want to hate you guys so much, but I can't. Damn. Good luck next week.

Yup, we're going to make it a week long trip to travel around some areas out there. Never been that far west...should be good. Of course, both teams may be FBS by then. :o

Hey, I just realized something. Even in a loss, our next game is in Chattanooga. Yes, we open next season @ UTC. It'll either be on Saturday or Thursday.

That's a bit odd. I can't even remember the last time there was an FCS conference game on opening weekend.

Montana 24 Appalachian St. 17 What a game! Definitely "one for the ages!" I dare any of those FBS bowls to top this! FCS football is so superior to FBS football! Of course this is due to FCS being "where championships are earned, not given!" Next Friday in Chattnooga should be very good. It really does not matter to me who wins. I just want to see a good contest. Montana is a very powerful team. Villanova is also very good. :thumb: :thumb:

Agree heartily on all points (except about who wins ;) ). If next week's game is even half as exciting as this one was, I may have a heart attack at 21. :o

I agree. Regardless of who wins, I want a good game. 31-28 or 28-24 would be a great final score.

28-17 Griz win would be "good" enough for me. I can't take another game like today's.

Yeah, I think both teams are playing FBS teams later in the season, and this is the best time...plus there's talk of ESPN carrying the Thursday game. ASU plays at Florida on Nov. 20.
