According to my sources, WIU DT Abe Koroma has declared himself eligible for the 2010 NFL Draft. Koroma finished fourth on the team in tackles (39) and had 3 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery on the season. Koroma played in 9 games after being dismissed from Penn State in the off-season. Anyone else planning to enter that any of you guys know of? I know Chris Bell of Norfolk State is considering declaring for the NFL Draft.

Interesting. The ability to draft the entirety of Western Illinois should provide unprecedented flexibility with personnel, not to mention the built-in chemistry benefits, but I'd think getting all the contract negotiations done would be a nightmare. Are the coaches included?

The whole team!??!? I am truly impressed!

On an annual basis, 4-5 Weber players at most get a look in the draft!

I wasn't that impressed with his play this year. He must have personal/academic issues. He certainly did not dominate enough to warrant an early departure.

I don't know Abe, or his grades, or even if he was in class (haha),
but I have to wonder if perhaps he figures he won't be able to stay academically eligible for another year and thus decided to salvage what he could and hope to get on with a pro team.
