Ducks to the ROSE BOWL...

But Hofstra dropping football??

That's a program I will always have respect for. i will never forget them beating us 10-9 to start the 2000 season. A classy program.. Sad to see them go. I am honestly bummed by this.

Great, Oregon & Ohio State in the rose bowl....
#1 this will be a boring Rose Bowl
#2 Oregon will probably lose & make the Pac-10 look like suckers

side note; if Tebow or McCoy win the Heisman Im gonna lose it.

Boring Rose Bowl? You'd rather see USC for the umpteenth straight year?

Terrell Pryor vs Masoli the spread offense? Wake up my friend - this is going to be a good one.

As for Oregon losing the Pac 10 basically owns the BIg 10 the last few years.

And this year for Oregon & Ohio State their only two common opponents are USC & Purdue - both teams which Ohio State lost to, and Oregon beat (not to mention blowing out USC).

YES! I would rather see USC for the 12th time. And as for the "pac-10" owning the big 12, I think it would be more accurate to say USC has owned the big 10, I havnt seen Oregon do anything special since 2007 when the choked their @sses off with a #2 BCS ranking. Trust me, Oregon WILL lose the game and make the Pacific Ten Conference look like a bunch of chumps that can't 'get it up' on the big stage...

As someone that doesn't have much love for Oregon (though I will be cheering my Pac-10 brethren on in the Rose Bowl) Oregon didn't "choke thier @sses off" in 2007. Had Dennis Dixon not torn his ACL he likely would've won the Heisman and the Ducks would've been playing in the National Championship game. That Oregon offense was very, very good with Dixon at the helm. As for being a boring Rose Bowl? I doubt it, unless OSU doesn't show up and it's boring because the Ducks blow them out (I don't actually think that will happen btw).

Shoulda woulda coulda, "IF Dixon didnt tear his acl, he COULDA won the heisman, then the Ducks WOULDA been playin in the NC.' The point is, they had the Nat' Champ game in their hands and they choked it away. Wikipedia defines:Choke (sports), a failure to win a competition after being expected to do so.

Jeezus BF, USC sucks this year, get over it. No one with a brain stem, so I guess that excludes you, would guarantee an OSU win in this game.

I don't know man.... Oregon definitely has the better offense... with Blount back, two great running backs along with a QB who throws and runs... but you also have to consider that Oregon has been playing Pac-10 defenses all year.

Ohio St appears to have a better defense than the Ducks especially in the secondary so that may affect the pass game... I hate picking OSU because they always seem to choke in these games, I wouldn't guarantee them... but I wouldn't count them out.

Nice try at a diss on the greatest player in Big Sky history. Swing and a miss.

He actually looks more like an accountant. On the field, though, he was a surgeon--and he could, and did, cut out the hearts of all who got in his team's way to the chipper in 1995...including, as you probably don't want to recall, EWU.

The running joke in Montana after Dickenson's career was that if you crossed his brain with Ryan Leaf's body, you'd have an NFL Hall-of-Famer, but if you crossed Dickenson's body with Ryan Leaf's brain, you'd have Bart Simpson.

(FYI, Dickenson preceded Leaf in high school as the QB of the Great Falls Russell Rustlers.)

Put your money where your mouth is then, big talker.

I'll take Oregon +3 for $20. Does that work for you? :coffee:

No way Oregon loses, the Big Ten has never been this bad. Ohio St is average in a bad conference.

Good for your Ducks. Great game last night, but I think the Ducks have a better chance of beating Ohio State than the Beavers...please do, I hate the Fcukeyes!

Forget ALL of them. I would take Montana, Appy, Villanova, etc. over any and all of them. FCS is better football, IMO.

Actually, if I offer to take Oregon +3, and you instead offer Oregon +10, then indeed you ARE stupid.

That means Ohio State would have to beat Oregon by 11 now, instead of just 4 for you to win.

But, if you insist, i'll take Oregon + the points....

Slight mistake. Point is, the Bucs will win this game.. The only bet ill take is Bucs must win or lose by 20 or less. Anything else can kick rocks.
