Grambling vs Southern at the Superdome - Saturday


Would love to see this one day.

First year since divisional play started that the bayou classic has no effect at all on the west division. Still should be a fun game lots of close ties on both teams. Plus the doug williams rumors makes this an interesting classic.

The rumor is that pete richardson will be out as coach after the season with doug williams taking the job. At this point that's all talk but it's starting to grow legs around town. We shall see.

It's well known around Baton Rouge that Doug Williams has wanted to coach at Southern, he's from the area and at one point wanted to play there, but Southern didn't want him as a QB. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.
