Agreed. Not a QB, but definitely some sort of athlete. He's certainly got the talent. Look at a guy like DeSean Jackson. I can AE playing a similar roll.

Wildcat formation. Great runner, terrific passer, dual threat but can't play every down.....will require the right situation, right team....

He could get drafted but the one thing that will keep him from getting drafted more than his size is the fact he is banged up a lot. In the NFL everyone is so big, strong, and fast that very thin players are always a concern. If he checks out 100% medically at the combine I think someone will take a chance on him in the draft. Personally I would not draft him until the late 6th or 7th round. His talent could force some team to take a risk though and they should because he is a phenomenal talent. The only question here is whether his talent translates to the NFL. If not, he will be a great one in the CFL because he has a strong arm and great mobility.

White has played sparingly and ineffectively for the Dolphins. Do I want to use a draft pick on that? Probably not. But AE, if he's not drafted will go quickly on the free agent market, so maybe you use a pick to limit his negotiating ability in that regard (if you really want him).

i don't see AE getting a "fair " shot at making a nfl team but i have been wrong MANY times before!

What do you think of him maybe being a db...He could be a pretty effective corner I would imagine..Or a wildcat qb.

Exactly, AE probably knows he's not gonna get a shot at QB, NFL seasons are long.. Can AE take an NFL size dline over & over & over all season long?

Kordell Stewart? Michael Vick?

I don't know who else really played often and was a run/pass guy

If GSU's Jayson Foster couldn't find his way onto an NFL roster I doubt that Edwards, who is basically Foster with a better arm, will have much more success.

QB? He'd get CLOBBERED at QB in that formation. Everyone forgets that the so-called "Wildcat" is merely a very limited SINGLE WING formation, and the QB in that formation is purely a BLOCKING BACK. In fact, some teams really DID call it "Blocking Back." The guy behind the center receiving the snap was known as the TAILBACK.

Good ones like Bob Waterfield and Sammy Baugh became pretty good T-Formation quarterbacks when the hit the NFL (the conversion from the single wing to the T Formation happened right about when they came in). But they were tailbacks first.
