The first round bracket looks pretty good except that I wouldn't be shocked to see the winner of an EWU/SDSU first round game going to Missoula to play the Griz in the quarters. Makes more sense than having someone like New Hampshire go cross-country in the 2nd round.

Please...not UNH again. I'm getting sick of beating them.

What have you seen in the last 5 years, to believe that UNH can beat UNI?
Seriously though, it is going to be ridiculous if we play UNH again.

UNI maybe 3-0 but it could easily be 2-1, 1-2 or 0-3 in those games. Its not like UNI has outplayed UNH. It has been a closely played series of games with the total margin of victory in the three games at right around 10 points.

The first two games of the series were close, classic games between two good teams. Last year, however, I think wasn't as close as the score showed. I feel like UNI was the better team last year, and outplayed UNH.
UNI was about to take a commanding lead into halftime last year, until Pat Grace threw a pick 6 on the 1 yard line.
That said, I'd rather not play them agan.
Just IMHO.

UNH is always a good opponent and I wouldn't mind seeing them again. It ain't like Delaware laming out with Delaware State.

And in 2005 had UNH finished off their drives you lose by 20. Can't play the what ifs. In the three games regardless of what might have happened the fact is UNH had the chance to win all 3 games. UNI was not a far better team in any of the games.

That might also make sense. I just know that either SDSU or UNI will be looking at a potential 2nd round game in Missoula.

No ECB here. I've watched 3 Montana games this year and don't like them in this match-up. If the match-up looks different I might have the Griz to the finals. We'll have to wait and see.

How do a couple of you guys have the lower seeds hosting in the quarter/semis. If Montana is a 1 or 2 seed they wouldn't leave home till Chattanooga if they went that far. Not only that but don't the brackets go 1&4 on one side and 2 & 3 on the other?

Rules always take a backseat to being a complete homer, Ursus.

SIU vs. Nova for the NC.
SIU wins.
Best game in the playoffs would be ASU's offense against SIU's defense, that would be something to see.

You are right, I screwed that up, though not trying to be a complete homer, as you can see I had UR losing in the title game.

So you were just being a moderate homer??
