On Sportsnation he was talking about Gonzaga and Spokane, but would only say he went to school about 12 miles from there and that he loved Gonzaga.

Cowherd is a douchebag. We don't claim him. We do however claim Pro Bowl LT Michael Roos (Tennessee Titans), and NBA starting guard Rodney Stuckey (Detroit Pistons).


Other than his paycheck, it must suck to be Colin Cowherd.

You're right, mostly because Colin Cowherd is a grad.

I was listening to him tell a story the other day about his days at EWU and he had no problem saying "EWU".

Yeah I've heard him mention that EWU is his alma mater quite a few times. I would assume that he didn't mention EWU when talking about Gonzaga because the point of the story was about Gonzaga and he was just mentioning where he went for proximity purposes. EWU is in a cool location outside of but very near to a lot of shit to go do/see. It's a cool place to watch a game in spite of the stadium needing a little work. If you don't see the merit in what they do there then you haven't been there on a game day.

Lots of people confuse cedar falls with cedar rapids as the home of uni. Because you're relatively obscure like ewu is.

No one confuses cheney with the home of microsoft - despite how many ewu grads go to work there or the fact you had to use their product to come up with your kick ass response.
