Dane Fletcher from MSU may have had a decent shot at the award but missed three games with mono. Since he has been back he has averaged 11 tackles a games including numerous tackles for loss and sacks.

I still don't know if he would have won it, but at least he would have been in the conversation as a potential finalist.

If not for mono he would certainly be on the list.

I have him on the list of those just missing the cut. You can certainly argue that he should stay on the list. If he has a big game this week then I will definitely put him on mine. His yards per carry is a big reason why he has not been on the list so far. I usually don't put backs averaging less than 5 per carry because I tend to list big play backs on these lists. He will be on my early list for next year for sure though.

You also need to look at the opponents that a player has played against. The Griz have beaten three teams ranked in the top 25, after this weekend maybe 4. So to not include a back that plays in a power FCS conference and instead include the likes of:

RB DAVID SINISI, MONMOUTH, SR.

QB JOHN SKELTON, FORDHAM, SR.

is ridicoulous and means that your credibility is bordering on zero!

Who have they played excactlty?

I'm not saying that they don't belong but they don't over Chase. And if you look at his stats the past 4 games he might be the hottest back in the country.

Not to mention that he's tied for third in the country in scoring.

Skelton belongs because he will be drafted and he has put up crazy numbers.

Sinisi is a very good player. When I saw him and Reynolds I thought both were great college backs that won't make it in the NFL. I have put Reynolds back on the list of possible additions because he has been so hot over the last few weeks. If he puts up good numbers again this weekend he is going back on the list for sure!
