For those that aren't familiar with Weber State, it is located in Ogden, Utah, on the bench of the Rocky Mountain range. Elevation is 4,500 ft. On the backside of the mtn WSU resides on is a ski resort that hosted the Downhill and Super G at the 2002 Olympics. WSU gets a boat load of snow but its usually in Jan & Feb.
One hour prior to kickoff
A few minutes prior to kickoff after a tractor plowed the perimeter of the field

Did your Hawaiian boys do snow angels in the end zone afterwards?
Not much tailgating it looked like. That's when you move it to the local motel after.

Most fun game i've ever been to. never seen that much snow at a football game. it felt like jan or feb. oddly the hawaiians seem to have no issues with the bad weather games. unless nau practices outside i don't know how they can prepare for bad weather games.

When I was in college, we had a bunch of Samoans who would absolutely love it when it snowed. They'd would actually deal with it better than some of us Northerners. We'd be inside watching football and they'd be outside throwing snowballs and being goofy.

Awesome! Good to see that football weather has arrived in parts of the country. Nothing but cold rain so far in ECB-land.

I can't believe Weber scored 27 in that.

They do - the only time they're indoors is when it's game time. And it's snowed a couple times here already this year, we just got a dusting from the bottom of that storm yesterday, so they haven't been able to really practice in it.
But yeah, impressive either team put up more than 20 in that stuff.

I couldn't believe NAU only completed 6 passes. It was an ugly game but very entertaining to watch. I felt bad for the NAU Jack Pack students that came to the game, not one of em had a coat but they looked like it didn't matter.
1 turnover in the game was most surprising I was expecting a bunch. I'd love to see the replay, it was hilarious watching players on both sides trying to make tackles.

Wow, that looks like it would have been a helluva good time. I would love to see a MT playoff game like that. Blizzard football is always entertaining to watch. Cold... what cold.

Don't know if they would postpone the game in that type of weather. No lights at either Missoula or Bozeman might make visibility rather questionable. Even for "day" games, sometimes it is necessary to have lights at the stadium.

Football rules have no provisions to postpone a game because of weather except for lightning

I'm not sure how lights would help you see during a day game in a blizzard...

You're just upset because NAU performed their annual Post-Columbus Day nosedive again this year.

Now that is football weather! It's been a long time since there was a lot of snow for a football game in Boone. We've had it come in the day before, or had a little flurry during the game, but nothing like that. I'd love to be a fan during that weather. Here's hoping that Boone gets some of it for the playoffs!
