Was just looking at Navy's record this year and I think Delaware takes this one.

No way. There's no way Delaware beats a team that beat the Domers.

I don't know. Navy beat SMU by the same margin that Washington State did, compounded with the fact they also lost to Temple, who Villanova beat.
While I understand that transitive extrapolations don't work in football, I can't help believe that Delaware is going to be more familiar with an option team than an FBS team. Doesn't URI or Northeastern run an option?

Lay off the BC bud. Delaware loses this game BIG. We aren't in the OSU, Pitt, or even Notre Dame league this year. In 2007 we had Joe fucking Flacco and a better defense and barely eeked out a win in a shootout.
I predicted 49-24. If we play the game of our lives and Navy gives us some gift turnovers, we may keep it respectable and lose, say, 34-24, but I think the more likely scenario is that Navy recalls the loss in '07 vividly and rolls it up a bit, say, 55-10. Either way, it's the same L for the Hens.

It's not BC bud, it's Pineapple Express, but you would know more about Delaware than I.
Nevermind. Thread off. Delaware is going to get their ass kicked.

Navy 38 - Delaware 17 in a game that is not really that close. Navy is very good this year, and we never know which Delaware team is going to show up.

I love flyovers. This one sounds awesome.
We had one at our first game that sucked eggs. They were 20 minutes late and flew to the south of the stadium - east to west. It was 20 minutes late almost at the end of the 1st quarter!...almost no one knew it was happening when it did. I totally missed it myself and only knew it had actually happened because someone posted a picture.

The flyover at the Delaware/Del State game this year also sucked. They had a C-130 from the DANG fly over. It was too high to really be that impressive.
The best flyover I've ever seen at a sporting event was two B-1s that flew over a NASCAR race at Dover Downs. Those things ROARED!
All of this pales in comparison to the flyovers that I used to call in over my own position when I was an air director in the USMC. At the end of every exercise, the last section of F/A-18s would customarily do stunts for us on command. At the end of one CAX at Twentynine Palms, we had set up our Direct Air Support Center on a finger at the edge of a desert valley. I called for a low-level reconnaissance pass and the pilot asked what the highest obstruction was. I told him it was our HF antenna rising to about 20 feet. He came in lower than eye level just above the deck and climbed as he approached the finger, just barely clearing our position. I miss that shit.

You mean like 2 years ago, when Navy beat Notre Dame and lost to Delaware.

Nah, Navy wins. But I think the game will be closer than some of my fellow Delaware-eans/Delaware-ites do.

Note to anyone with Comcast who wants to see this game:
You can get today's game for $5. It's being shown (at least on my digital box) on Channel 732, CSTV. CSTV is part of the "Sports Entertainment Package" which is $5/month and includes CBS College Sports TV (CSTV), the NFL RedZone channel, Fox College Sports channels (Atlantic, Central, and Pacific), the Tennis Channel, the Fox Soccer Channel, GOL TV, the Horseracing Network, and Horse Racing TV. This fills in all channels between 711 and 735 on my box.
The number is 888-266-2278. I was on the phone less than 10 minutes.

TXST is about 40 miles from the AFB in San Antonio. No real excuse for being so late to the party. This was planned. It was our Vet/Military salute game.

Delaware has no answer for the Navy offense. They methodically stroll down the field and score a TD.
