I hope he's right too...but if Navy plays like they played last week against Notre Dame... :ohno:

If Navy is on a high from last weeks win, and overlooks the Hens...maybe...but I'm doubting that will happen...

That is the only way I see Delaware winning this game, and I agree, I don't expect it to happen.

I think Delaware will have to be at least +4 in the turnover department to have any kind of chance against the Mids.

Didn't Delaware beat Navy last time they played?

Yes, but that was a Hens team that went to the National Championship game and they still needed a 450 yrd passing performance from Joe Flacco to barely beat a Navy team that was not as good as this year's version. Delaware is a three touchdown underdog, and rightfully so.

Yes. 59-52 in 2007.

The Hens have beaten Navy twice this decade, and both times went on the FCS/I-AA championship game.

If Delaware wins the Navy and Villanova, they will not only be a team that no one wants to face in the first round, they are on a path toward the championship game again. Unfortunately for Hens fans, that scenario is probably destroyed this weekend.

Rhode Island @ Maine - Black Bears QB done for season... Maine's Williams and Session may not play (no Session and Smith = No Run Game... No Williams and Smith = No Pass Game), and URI coming off a good performance v UNH... game will be closer than most think. Maine pulls it out in the end thanks to the stellar URI defense.

James Madison @ Massachusetts - JMU wins for the first time in over 20 years at Dirt McGuirk Stadium? Col Hogan does not receive flaming bag of dog poo on his door step this holiday season?

Villanova @ Towson .... eeeasy
Hofstra @ Northeastern .... Pride
Richmond @ Georgetown .... who are we kidding?
New Hampshire @ William and Mary - W&M Defense stymies UNH
Delaware @ Navy - This ain't your Unibrow UD team.

I don't know if I will be making it back to your area this year so you may be safe... but that doesn't discount future visits. 8-)

Just make sure you do it on a Monday night...that's when I do my weekly weapon cleaning, so it takes me a moment or two to put it back together... :kisswink:
