Four teams tied at 4-1. Only two common games left - McNeese at Texas State and SFA @ SELA.

All four could end up 5-2. Likely scenario has two at 6-1. All four could end up 8-3.

TXST has the ability to take McNeese, but it isn't going to be an easy game. It will be another knock-down, drag-out game. We have a chance. That's always a viable thing but I take one game at a time, like the teams does. If we happen to lose we won't be the SLC champions but I will be really, really happy with a 7-4 season. (8-3 would be exceptional)

For those that don't know, TXST has just accomplished something they haven't done since 90-91. Back to back winning seasons.
I can undersatand reluctance to pin any poll votes on TXST and the history of McNeese and them being ranked but this is a program that has been down a long time and, finally, is starting to head in the right direction. 3 of the past 5 seasons we have had a winning record and 2 of them (previous) that we did we went to the playoffs and "we" haven't had this much success since they were NAIA in the beginning of the 1980's.

I should have included Texas State in my poll. Oversight on my part.
