WAT?
There are about 10 teams in there that I seriously wonder how they got a vote.

I have another issue with this poll:

1. Southern Illinois Salukis (37) 8-1 3,196 3
2. Montana Grizzlies (64) 9-0 3,172 2
3. Villanova Wildcats (32) 8-1 3,161 4

Montana has significantly more 1st place votes than SIU and yet ends up 2nd?
That means that SIU benefits from more 2nd place votes?

Its probably an oddity, but when was the last time the team not receiving the most 1st place votes ended up 1st?

Its a tough week to choose a #1 team. You have three teams with a legitamate claim, so you knew something like this was going to happen.

I quote this only because you're on the "content" team. Is there a way to look at the past week's polls. I wanted to compare some point totals in different polls for grins and giggles. Can we do that on here? I didn't see an option in the polls tab, but if you could just choose a week's poll to look at that would be nice.

It may be an easy thing to do because the prior week's polls are saved as previous versions in the content management software. It would mean adding pages to the site itself, which Chris would need to do though.

I like your idea though. I wonder if we could add a drop-box with the previous polls linked.

Yea, or just the ability to click on a certain week. Either way it will be cool to watch some teams' ascent to the top and others plummet to the bottom... :x

Western Carolina is the best 1-8 team in the country. Seriously though is that a sick, tasteless joke?

All I can figure is that someone tried to give William & Mary a third-place vote and misclicked a couple lines too high.

Of course if someone looked at the damn thing before they sent it out this shit wouldn't happen, but that's just me being unreasonable again.

You may be onto something there. TSN's site now shows WCU off the ORV, and W&M's total has increased by 23.

What it means is that those that didn't vote them #1 probably had them down towards the 4 or 5 range, thus less points than SIU which was probabl 1 or 2 on everyone's ballet

I would infer that voters strongly believe that SIU is one of the top two teams but that there are two schools of thought about the Griz. Either a win is a win is a win or they don't have much in the way of good wins even if they're undefeated. SIU is undefeated in FCS, too.

How can you say that when the Bison would be 9-0 if they hadn't beaten themselves eight times?
