Who's gonna be there? I'll be in the grass but can't imagine I will be doing much sitting. Any predictions?

Should be a great game. APP STATE by 3

I'll be there too. I'll have the best seat in the house for the game. Should be a good one. It'll come down to a field goal, or whoever has the ball last. If the Elon student body can show up before halftime, and stay until after the 3rd quarter is over, they could give the Phoenix an emotional boost.

No prediction, as always, but should be a good game. Has the potential for a barn burner. I hope it doesn't come down to a field goal for us. I'd much rather have the ball in AE's hands. Still haven't decided if I'm making the trip to Burlington from Charlotte. I haven't missed an ASU game there since you guys joined the SoCon...AE's only game there is a tough one to miss. May the best team win, GO APPS!

Sure seems like these Peelon people are scared! They need to peel on some courage. Quit worrying about statistics. There is no hope. Embrace it. We got you where we want you....in our sights. We will be gentle with you fleenix. Don't want you to lose to some CAA team in the playoffs because we beat the fire out of you. D-day in this case will be Doomesday, and that doesn't stand for defense.

I think Appy makes a statement this game and proves that they might be the best team in the FCS.

I'm not feeling good about this game. Elon has been easily handling teams App St has struggled with. Our defense has only had one really good complete game (GaSo), and a few good halves and quarters here and there. This is a chance for Elon to make a statement as well ... in front of their home crowd.

Elon has played App St a little tougher every year, losing a game they easily could have won in Boone last year.

What does all this mean? Beats me. If App St brings the kind of performance they had against Georgia Southern, they will handle anyone in FCS. But if they bring the game they've brought for most of this season, this may be the game where Elon gets over the hump.

Hoping my Mountaineers got it in them.

While we've had good success against some of the teams you were struggling with, you managed to dismantle Furman pretty easily whereas we had a rather stressful time of doing so. And I will agree with you...it does seem like we are playing you a little tougher every year, although that's probably a byproduct of our football program improving itself. I think the X-factor in this game is whether or not App can stay consistent the entire game rather than part of it, because from what I've seen of Elon, they will prey on times of weakness.
