Damn! He didn't even mumble it, he meant to be heard! That will in most-likelihood cost him his job, in addition to a fine by the FCC.

From what I've read elsewhere...still looking for the link...it was a technician, not one of the announcers...

And I don't know if the game was on over-the-air broadcast...which would bring the FCC into the mix....I watched it on cable, and CSN is usually cable-only, which would keep the FCC out of the picture, but could have lots of local jurisdictions looking into what happened...

But it was a total lack of class...

That is what it sounded like to me. It reminded me of listening to a NASCAR race on a scanner, you hear the over the air radio feed, but also the behind the scenes workers as well.

He called the kicker a bum.

Pretty much confirmed it wasn't the announcers...but who ever it was should be canned...

If the kicker sees this video, he'll likely jump off of a building. You know how fragile those kickers can be...

I thought it was funny because he was complaining that he wanted the game over with. If the FG had been good the game would've gone longer.

Not a big deal and if we all had made the mistakes of having live mics on when we were having a bad moment at work I bet it would look real similar. I don't wish for a guy to have a bunch of trouble in his life and lose a job because we all give a word so much power. What about the children? Fuck em', I hear the children talk when the parents aren't around and you can trust me...they know that word quite well.

I agree.. a mistake.. but not a mistake that should cause anyone to lose their job.
