Doesn't mean they're the best team in the country. The best team doesn't struggle against a winless ISU.Grizalltheway wrote:Regardless of how shitty they played today, the Griz are still the only team in FCS (I think) with a zero in the loss column.

You're going to move Richmond all the way out of the top five for losing by one point to Villanova? I'd think moving Montana all the way out of the top 5 for barely beating the little sisters of the poor would be more logical.AZGrizFan wrote:My top 5 will probably look like this (with last weeks position in parentheses):

Think whatever you want. They won their game. Richmond didn't. Richmond lost and fell from #2 to #6. Deal with it.DJH wrote:You're going to move Richmond all the way out of the top five for losing by one point to Villanova? Did you watch the same game I did?MrTitleist wrote:How do you move a team down for winning? Mine will go as follows:
1. Nova (3)
2. Montana (2)
3. SIU (4)
4. William and Mary (5)
5. Richmond (1)
Richmond barely beat VMI (38-28) and Nova barely beat Penn (14-3) earlier this season. Did you move them out of the top five at that time?DJH wrote:You're going to move Richmond all the way out of the top five for losing by one point to Villanova? Its not dumb. This is supposed to be a ranking of which teams are the best teams. Not which teams have the longest winning streaks.MrTitleist wrote:Unfortunately. But regardless, it's dumb to move a team down after a win. Bad win or not, it's still another tally in the W column.
The games you mentioned were both double digit victories. Not last second FG wins, against winless teams.kalm wrote:Richmond barely beat VMI (38-28) and Nova barely beat Penn (14-3) earlier this season. Did you move them out of the top five at that time?DJH wrote:

At least one of Montana's sister of the poor fully funds scholarships.
I like the way you think.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Doesn't mean they're the best team in the country. 14-3 and 38-28 against an Ivy and Big South are hardly better than 12-10 against a down ISU. At least Idaho State has a National Championship banner hanging in its stadium and comes from a conference that fully funds scholarships.DJH wrote:The games you mentioned were both double digit victories.
