SCFBF, any info on LU's Trey Jacobs, and what the scouts and such think about him?

Lots of MVFC talent. Q Scott is an athletic freak.

WR Tyson Poots should be added to that list, one of the few all americans to ever attend SUU and he is as usual tearing it up :thumb:

YSU WR Donald Jones has been on many scouting lists all year. He was something like the 30th WR in the rankings.

Free agent. Good strength but slow for DE. Going to be a DT at the next level.

Yes he is. I am very impressed with Scott. We will see who knows their stuff in the postseason because his numbers are not great but if he is not on at least a 3rd team All-America list then I must say that outlet has zero credibility.

He has not really risen this year. He is about where I had him entering the year so I did not list him. If anything he has fallen some but I saw him against SDSU and he looked solid. I think he should get drafted.

You are welcome. Enjoy him because Liberty doesn't have anyone for next year I don't think lol. Maybe one of the OL?

He is just a junior. He will be on my list of players for next year.

Yeah, we don't have many Juniors right now... but plenty of Soph's and Frosh's...

I noticed that. I have a couple of them on my list.

Is one William Michael Brown one of them? :) I think he wears number 10 and does a lot of things really well.

This has been his first year of significant playing time too. Big hitter with speed, and a whole lot of size. Real raw talent, but has a great upside. MVC long jump champion too.

I was also impressed with SIU's Karim after seeing him. He really is a complete runner. Really has a great burst, and is physical enough.

What's your opinion of UC Davis wide receivers Chris Carter and Bakari Grant?

Heading into the year I had Grant higher because of the upside but after seeing both this year I have Carter on the draft board. I think he could be a solid 3rd or 4th WR in the NFL. Grant is a project worth taking really late or as a PFA and putting on a practice squad to develop.

I noticed you had Danny Batten and Casey Bender from SDSU on your list but did not include Casey Knips. Is that because he hasn't risen any? He has had very good games against some of the top DE in our conference so far.

Quote from an article in today's Austin paper

"He's old school," said 27-year-old quarterback Bradley George, a 6-foot-6-inch specimen who's been watched by every NFL team, especially the Jets. "He wants us to become better men."

(the article is about Coach Wright on why TXST should renew his contract)

Here's the article if you're interested.

I wonder where the NFL is projecting AE. I don't think, with his size, that most teams will have him at QB but I don't know if he could take the punishment as a receiver. He is in between, kind of like Rodney Landers was.

He has not really risen. He was a mid-late round type guy entering the season.
