This was a nightmare to figure out this week. I still don't if I have??
1) Richmond (1)
2) Southern Illinois (2)
3) Montana (3)
4) Elon (4)
5) New Hampshire (5)
6) William & Mary (7)
7) Villanova (6)
8) South Dakota State (8)
9) Northern Iowa (9)
10) Appalachian State (10)
11) South Carolina State (13)
12) Jacksonville State (17)
13) McNeese State (15)
14) Cal Poly (18)
15) Central Arkansas (12)
16) Eastern Illinois (23)
17) Eastern Washington (24)
18) Northern Arizona (16)
19) Weber State (11)
20) Stephen F. Austin (14)
21) Holy Cross (21)
22) Colgate (22)
23) Florida A&M (25)
24) Liberty (-)
25) Albany (20)
In my view EIU and EWU are too high, but I had nowhere else to put them at this point...... I might have put Holy Cross and Colgate higher, but would it still be accurate, probably not, so I just left them where they are. The Weber State and Northern Arizona threw me for a loop. I could have easily dropped NAU out, but dropped Delaware out instead, because their loss was much worse and at home, so there you go. If I had to redo it NAU would have been about 22.

Albany lost to Central Ct.
Central Ct. is 7-1 with their only loss to your #6 W&M.
Central should definitely be ranked above at least Albany and arguably above Holy Cross, Colgate FAMU and Liberty.

The Griz played thier first solid game for 4 quarters against Weber...if they can keep doing that they will give anyone fits. AZ is just giving them credit for that

Montana is a very good team no doubt.. but the undefeated national champs should be number 1 period.

Montana is a very good team no doubt.. but the undefeated national champs WITH AN FBS WIN should be number 1 period.
Added something, for emphasis. But I totally agree.

Polls aren't about groupthink. If he honestly thinks they're the better team,
THIS SEASON, then he has every right to vote them #1.

Sure, but I have every right to disagree and tell him how he should vote. It's all freedom of speech.

Doesn't mean anyone has to listen.

No doubt man, and Z should definitely be poked and prodded as often as possible.

I am not even joking... I put SDSU as #1 in the country. When they beat SIU on Saturday, you will ALL know why. They are nothing flashy, but they were eerily remiscient of Tressel teams from the 90s at Stambaugh this past Saturday.
Their execution, coaching, lack of turnovers, and just flat our heart is the best I have seen in person in many many years.
I think most, if not all, teams in the Top 10 have better athletes and speed than SDSU, but for the reasons above, they will be VERY tough to beat.

They're a very good team, but a victory over YSU is hardly something to hang one's hat on.
