Outside of JMU, who completely shit the bed (although they did the rest of FCS fooball a HUGE favor with their win over the Blue Chickens this weekend) who would you classify as the most overrated team this year? Who has "underwhelmed" you the most?

My vote goes to Weber State. These guys were supposedly ready to "take the mantle" from the Griz, yet they lost to two inferior FBS squads, got worked by Montana State, BARELY won at Portland State, let UNC hang around until the VERY end, then got waxed by the Grizzlies this weekend.

For a team that was talking about potential FBS wins prior to the season starting, it's gone down in FLAMES.

I went with Weber as well. I didn't sit around for 2 "Will Weber Beat" threads to not be able to shove it down their throats when they go under .500

Oh, and I threw NDSU in there just for shits and giggles. We all KNEW they were going to suck, but that was purely for Willie's voting pleasure.

I voted NDSU because every knew they would suck but they were still getting votes until they they were 1-4 or 1-5

Went with Weber for obvious reasons.....& am glad this thread wasn't started 3 weeks ago or a strong case for app's inclusion could have been made.....

Wofford seems like the obvious choice here. They were top 15, now they're bottom 50. That's a big drop.

Got to go with the homer vote...UMass was as high as, what, 9???

One good win (over UNH) at home...can't win anything on the road...

With that as a backdrop, 6 & 5 by the end of the season will be lucky...

Have they even won 2 games..?

Wofford had something like 18 players out with the flu for the first 5 or so games of the season. Not to mention they are working with their 3rd/4th string running back, missing their top tackler from last year (LB), half their secondary is injured, and they've pretty much given up. Yes, they were overrated, but it's not because of a lack of talent. It's because of a lack of depth.

Weber, easily. alot of talk, and expectations, and they have delivered nothing. I don't think this Montana team is as good as they have been recently and they still destroyed Weber.

But influenza lasts about 5 to7 days... not 5 weeks

Rereading my post, I can see where you get that. I should have clarified that players were missing a game or two and then returning. I know that they had 9 out for GSU and 5 who didn't play against us. They also had a few out for UTC, but I don't know the number.

You keep thinkin' that. Montana played it's FIRST complete game of the year Saturday. They've taken the first quarter off just about every week, but not on Halloween. This team is peaking at just the right time...

i said it about a month ago that UNI was overrated ! and they proved me right .

Cal Poly, up until the loss to UND everyone thought they were still a top team that had at least a small chance at a run for a NC
