This is a big game - even though FU laid an egg recently - they have a chance to make a statement here this afternoon...

I repeat: Big Game..!!! (IMHO)

App State takes no time in driving for a TD

McDuffie already has a forced fumble and a INT. Why wasn't he starting until last week?

Vitaris missed a 41-yarder in the rain after the INT. CoCo dropped and easy TD.

Then FU went 3 and out. Armanti wasted no time. Long pass to CoCo and AE gets another 3 yard TD run.

21-0 now. 13:45 left in the 1st.

Furman finally gets moving. Easy drive to cut it to 21-7.

Bobby Lamb's genius idea to do a surprise onside kick on the opening kickoff looks to have set the tone for the game.

Furman fans were booing their team after it became 21-0.

3rd rushing TD for Armanti makes it 28-7, 5:43 left in the half.

Furman won't quit. 33-yard TD pass makes it 28-13 after the failed 2PC.

When will Furman learn not to run the 2PC against us?

Why the hell would you try a 2pc in the first half?

Your logic doesn't apply to Bobby Lamb. He's is a man in his own world and we love him for that.

According to those watching, Furman tried their hardest to recreate the Miracle on the Mountain and it almost happened.

Devon Moore TD. 35-13 App now, 2:55 left in the half. There have been 3 TD's in the last two minutes of play.

Little more info. We actually did recreate the Miracle on the Mountain (oversnap on the 2PC and Legree ran it to the house) but it was called back for a phantom personal foul.

Bobby Lamb just got a personal foul himself. He wants to suit up again and lead Furman back to the glory days. Vintage Bobby Lamb meltdown and it's only the 2nd quarter. 8-)

3 and out for Furman. The App defense has been Jeckyl and Hyde so far, but we're winning, so who cares. :D

Halftime stats.

App had 318 total yards. Armanti is 19 of 24 for 236 yards and a TD. He also has 3 rushing TD's on 40 yards rushing.

Bobby Lamb is 1-1 for 15 yards on meltdowns.

3 and out for Furman to start the half.

Armanti comes back in and does the same-old same-old. Finishes it with a 5 yard TD run for his fourth of the game.

42-13 now, 11:13 left in the 3rd.

Mind you, Furman switched to a 4-2-5 a couple years ago for the sole purpose of stopping Armanti.

And don't be surprised if OL FU joins us in a few minutes.

And then Sorrells throws a 72-yard TD. 42-20 now.

Looks like Armanti's day isn't over yet.

Armanti does it again in 61 seconds. 21-yard TD pass to CoCo caps it off.

49-20 now, 8:57 left in the 3rd.

If the defense holds this time, Armanti's day will probably be done.

There is no defense on either side now.

49-27. 5:33 left in the 3rd.
