Also, with Karim leading the FCS in rushing, somebody must be blocking.

Statistically, QB Thomas DeMarco (Soph - Old Dominion) could be looked at for HM.
He has 17 passing touchdowns, 7 rushing touchdowns, only 2 interceptions.

What, no love for kickers and punters?
Old Dominion's Punter Jonathan Plisco leads the nation with a 45.9 yd average (48 punts).

On the OL I have Shawn Smith of SIU on the 3rd team. Almost put one more SIU OL on the list in the honorable mention section.

The only player listed behind him in pass eff. that I listed is Eric Ward and when you have a NC, lead the #1 ranked team, and have decent numbers at the QB position you are going to get listed on here. If not for Richmond's team success I probably would not have listed him though.

Yeah, I can't argue with that logic. We're just real impressed with his 17-2 TD/INT ratio. The 53% completion percentage is killing him now. The level of competition isn't helping him either. But he is only a sophomore. He'll have his chance to prove himself later.

I would say Austin Richard C, is our best O-line player right now. Arndt has had a good year too

He is one player I looked at. I tried not to put every player possible on here but make sure I got everyone that I thought could get on the postseason teams. I remember seeing #10 make some plays along with #4 when watching EWU games.

He is very good for sure. As I posted before I tried to be somewhat selective. I chose Rhea because of his TD numbers.

He has been hurt some and thus that is why I left him off. When the postseason teams come I figure he will be on the third team or honorable mention somewhere.

Smith is on the third team. I almost put one more SIU OL on the list in my honorable mention section but once I looked back at my list I thought what I had was more than I should have listed so I did not put anyone else. Your center could easily be put on here as well though.

If TD numbers were what sold you on Rhea, perhaps you're not aware that Simmie leads the Southland Conference in TD receptions with 11...also leads in yards per game...he's really only played in what amounts to six games because he missed part of the first half and most of the second against McNeese with an ankle, and only played a little over a quarter against Union...he's the real deal!!

Well, team success is another factor. SFA is playing very well right now. I always try to give more honors out to those teams in the top 10-15 than those unrated. For the record, I voted SFA in the top 10 in my ballot this week and really believe they are underrated based on what they have done thus far.

Use whatever criteria you want - it's your list - but Simmie Yarborough is the better player and is having a better year...he should be on anyone's All-American list...he's a difference-maker.

FBFan, keep an eye on Matt Bevins, K for LU, who is on a hot streak in terms of FG kicking at the moment...

also, Mike Brown, WR/QB/RB/PR/KR should probably be on your radar, as well. He hasn't gotten huge numbers on a consistent basis, but he is the centerpiece of the team, and I think next year, once he figures out his role on the team, he will be deserving of a spot on your 2010 list. He's probably one of the few guys in the nation with 4 Passing TD's, 5 Rushing TD's, and a Receiving TD. Not to mention his nearly 400 yards passing, 266 yards rushing, and 347 receiving yards. He might be spread a little thin, but those are impressive numbers.

I saw him play earlier this year against WVU. he is a good player.
