Uhhh....Bill & Hillary looked exceedingly pedestrian today. They ain't "stompin'" ANYONE's ass...93henfan wrote:If I weren't a Delaware fan, it would be William & Mary. I like seeing the CAA send a different team to stomp everyone's ass each year. W&M could make it four CAA championships in seven years and the fifth different CAA team to win it all. Same applies to Nova, but fuck them.
They beat a team playing its last meaningful game handily.AZGrizFan wrote:Uhhh....Bill & Hillary looked exceedingly pedestrian today. And they looked pedestian doing it. This game was 17-3 until JMU shit the bed and fumbled on their only decent drive of the day with about 6 minutes left. Admit it, Bill & Hillary didn't look dominating by any means....against a below average team that knew coming INTO this game their season was already cooked.93henfan wrote:They beat a team playing its last meaningful game handily.AZGrizFan wrote:

Or Nova or W&M.mainejeff wrote:If the CAA wins the National Championship this season, it will be either Richmond or Delaware.
Nope.93henfan wrote:Or Nova or W&M.mainejeff wrote:If the CAA wins the National Championship this season, it will be either Richmond or Delaware.
Nice attempt at sandbagging.93henfan wrote:Hey, if you're that high on Delaware, more power to you. Until we beat Richmond (fail), W&M (fail), or Nova (TBD), I can't place us above them in the CAA South pecking order.
That being said, this Delaware team has grown by leaps and bounds as the season has gone on, so if the trend continues and we can pull an upset of Navy or Nova, we will be dangerous in the bracket.
This is surreal. Mainejeff and I are going back and forth about Delaware and he's on Delaware's side.mainejeff wrote:Nice attempt at sandbagging.93henfan wrote:Hey, if you're that high on Delaware, more power to you. Other than Richmond, no one is playing better than Delaware right now.
Um, dude, aren't you forgetting something?93henfan wrote:Hey, if you're that high on Delaware, more power to you. Until we beat Richmond (fail), W&M (fail), or Nova (TBD), I can't place us above them in the CAA South pecking order.

OK, now I can argue why Delaware will win it all!Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Nova or Richmond are the CAA's best shot at the title game. No other CAA team will get that far.
This is Delaware we're talking about - no matter how bad Hofstra and JMU might be (and Hofstra doesn't suck too bad), both team give daHenz fits. I could easily see us losing to either one - or better still to both, and then sweeping Nova and Navy and yet still missing the playoffs.93henfan wrote:Maybe.Rob Iola wrote: Um, dude, aren't you forgetting something?
FIFY...slycat wrote:Look outside the CAA South...................
No doubt. I mentioned in another thread that Hofstra is bipolar. If we get "Good Hofstra" at The Tub in two weeks we're fucked. We have to hope we get "Doesn't Want to Get Out of Bed Hofstra". JMU is just looking worse and worse by the week. The only thing that could kill us in that game is turnovers. Their defense is still formidable.Rob Iola wrote:This is Delaware we're talking about - no matter how bad Hofstra and JMU might be (and Hofstra doesn't suck too bad), both team give daHenz fits. Maybe.
Realistically though we'll beat Hofstra, squeak by JMU, and then get handled by both Nova and Navy to finish with 4 losses and bounced from the playoffs...
Delaware will beat Villanova.......no problem......and enter the playoffs with an 8-3 record.93henfan wrote:So which of @Navy or @Nova do you think we beat if we are going to finish at 8-3 or 9-2?
Villanova 28, William & Mary 14mainejeff wrote:Delaware will beat Villanova.......no problem......and enter the playoffs with an 8-3 record.93henfan wrote:So which of @Navy or @Nova do you think we beat if we are going to finish at 8-3 or 9-2?
AZ uses the transitive theory to play down Delaware's playoff chances.AZGrizFan wrote:Villanova 28, William & Mary 14mainejeff wrote:

William & Mary 30, Delaware 20
I'll take Villanova AND Navy to block......Delaware's path to the playoffs.![]()
