SE what makes UNI at 4 overrated, but not at 7? I'm not spaying I disagree 4 may be too high to start, just seems like a pretty small window. At what point would you consider them underrated?

FWIW, I think Delaware at 4 is overrated, but 8 is OK. IMO there's a difference between Top 10 and Top 5. It is a narrow window and somewhat arbitrary, but when you talk about Top 5, that's a realllly high expectation. You can go 8-3, win a first round game and be Top 10. Top 5 means you either went 9-2 or made the semis.

That's what I was thinking. I'd UNI around top 10ish, but not top 5.

There are some serious flaws in both of these.... Cal Poly not being in the top 25 is unlikely. SUU will have a top 25 team this year as well.

Yeah. SUU will be in the Top 25 right up until Week 2. Their season will officially be in the crapper after their huge Week 2 loss.

I agree Screamin Eagle, have no idea what has stirred him up about SUU but it is quite entertaining . Coming from a fellow 6-5 team and future Big Sky opponent I look forward to the challenge, just another Big Sky opponent we have to show the hard way we belong. I highly doubt that the Hornets will destroy us at home (where no question we play our best) and the fact that the Hornets opponents got the vast majority of their yards and points through the air which is what were good at. Going to have to say I think we take the hornets comfortably in this one.

SUU Wins: 31-17

I'd like to see what Sorensen could do in the playoffs. I think a lot of SUU's success will hinge on whether they can replace a couple of those receivers and find a little more defense. I'd say SUU probably would have finished in the middle of the Big Sky last year, somewhere around Sac State and Weber.

One take on the OVC and members in both polls. Jacksonville State, EKU and Murray State will be the top three teams with very little difference between the three. Murray returns EVERYONE on an offense among the top 5 in the country (see RB Mike Harris, QB Casey Brockman, KR Dontrell Johnson). A little defensive improvement will go a long way for the Racers toward a conference title this year. SEMO lost 22 seniors and will fall off to mid-pack with the loss of RB Henry Harris.
