Don't worry, we got someone better. That 6A player of the year from Oregon.

Might be why Romain got turned off by Montana, or vice versa.
I don't think it was related. The kid from Oregon is a QB.

He's a QB though and Raomain is a RB so that wouldn't make a lot of sense would it?

Good job to Albany on that guy as he sounds like a real good recruit.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with anything except the "isolation" factor of a Northern-NJ kid going to school in Montana.

Congrats to Albany!

I was hoping he'd be a Griz and help elevate our running game...looks like we're gonna' be stuck in mediocrity at the RB position for next year!??!

Except for that whole idea that its a 2.5 ride ot Boston and NYC............ :coffee:

Although I'll gladly conceded that a 2.5 hr drive in Montana is much more scenic. :thumb:

Sorry DF....just a shot across the bow for no good reason....I only know because I was stuck in the hell-hole that is Mechancsville/Ballston Spa for 8 long months during the winter of 1988-89. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

edit: oh, and it's a 2.5 hr plane flight to L.A. :thumb:

Oh god, I feel for you. There is only two good places to be North of Albany during the winter: Lake Placid or Montreal.

Now, had you been stuck in Saratoga County during Track Season (Late July through Labor Day) you would have had a much different opinion.

Well suck you too. Maybe he didn't wanna be a dual-Reynolds backup. :coffee:

Please please please make that happen. I could use a 2nd trip to Missoula (this time as a fan). :thumb:

Well, I reported to the Navy center there in late July, so I actually DID catch the track season.   Once the snow started falling, however, it was all downhill. :ohno: :ohno:

G-d I miss the days when I bartended in 'Toga. I have been all over...but the ass in 'Toga is fantastic in the summer.

In the good words of many on this board, "I'D HIT IT."

Oh...and SUPER PUMPED ABOUT ROMAIN. We have two studs at the RB position now.

Here's what I don't understand, and no offense meant to Albany: If he was good enough to make Montana, why Albany? Why isn't he being courted by JMU, or Richmond, or W&M or UMass? All of those are just as close, aren't they? Are they all stupid, or were Montana and Albany overestimating this young man's talents?
