Honor for Boston Militia Linebacker

Former Boston Militia linebacker Mia Brickhouse has been inducted into the Villanova Varsity Club Hall of Fame Class of 2021 for her 'Nova softball career. The Class of 2000 athlete still holds the school record for stolen bases and stolen base attempts; she was 80-88. She had a string of 28 consecutive steals over 59 games between the '97 and '99 seasons. The outfielder sits at second in program history with a .372 batting average and scored a school record 53 runs in 1999. Brickhouse was All-Region in 1999 and 2000, and an Academic All-American in 2001. The team was an impressive 138-76-3 during Brickhouse's time there.
Plus, she won a gold medal with the US Women's National Football Team in 2010, beating Austria 63-0 and Finland 72-0 in pool play and Canada 66-0 in the Gold Medal Game. (Finland beat Germany 26-18 in the Third Place Game, and Sweden beat Austria 20-18 in the Fifth Place Game.)
