Don't be like SH and his 4,000,000,000 threads about nothing.
What if Oregon hires Bellotti as the interim head coach and the Ducks start the game with an onside kick?
I wanted that so badly. I was at that game! Thought it was the greatest of all time til I got back to my apartment and watched SportsCenter + what happened.
Anyway,
Brian McClendon is the interim for the Alamo Bowl. He was at Georgia under Kirby previously and was their interim in a 24-17 bowl win against Penn State when Mark Richt got fired.

This. Come on SH, do the right thing and change the thread title to "2021-22 Bowl Games"
You have started 7 threads related to coaching changes.

The Bahamas Bowl (ESPN) has kicked off. Middle TN State (6-6, 4-4 C-USA) vs. Toledo (7-5, 5-3 MAC). Toledo is in the Red Zone. I'm expecting a blowout in favor of Toledo. A .500 team has no business in a bowl....
The Cure Bowl (ESPN2) airs at 1500 PST. Coastal Carolina (10-2, 6-2 Sun Belt) vs. N. Illinois (9-4, 6-2 MAC). This game should have been set up later in the bowl season....

Toledo missed a 35 yard FG. Maybe I was a bit hasty....

I guess I was wrong. (What's unusual about THAT?!?) Middle TN State is up 28-17 4Q.

Amen. I would dearly LOVE to eliminate some of these minor bowls so that we can get a legitimate playoff AND fill the remaining bowls without having to use schools like 6-7 Hawai'i....

Thank you, 89. I tuned into the LA Bowl late, and couldn't find video of that first pass for Cooper Legas. Impressive, to say the least. So was the Coastal win (so long as one doesn't care about defense). But some of the other early bowls leave a lot to be desired. Could we replace 6-7 Hawai'i with oh, say, SFA? Or, maybe revise a rule and allow a team like JMU to sneak in there after losing in the playoffs? Wouldn't that provide a better matchup than an FBS team with a losing record?
