That's right, Ivy. I could see Mount Union doing at least as well (or potentially better than) St. Thomas did this year in FCS. I wouldn't be surprised if Mount Union were to dominate the OVC....

Maybe, but don't forget there are a LOT of financial obstacles to being DI which could hinder the ability for MU to stay as successful as they are in D3.

True, 89. I was going to say that the fact that they're coached by a legend, but it appears that once again I'm laid by the lee; Larry Kehres retired in 2013, and his son took over for a few years before bolting to Toledo. Now some young guy is coaching, but he's continuing the legendary success of Mount Union. Kehres could have done it, but your citation of the finances would be a key stumbling block....

Not sure it's an upset. I believe North Central is the defending national champs. I know a few kids on that team.
