Coastal Jumps to #9!?!

In the AP Poll. Liberty remained at #22.

The Coaches Poll still has CCU at #12 and Liberty at #21.

The Chants MIGHT jump into the Top Ten in the CFP rankings on the strength of their win and the colossal dumps taken by Florida and Miami, which would leave a dim possibility of a trip to the Rose Bowl, but it would likely take a TON of chicanery like upsets of Georgia by winless Vanderbilt, Cincinnati by Tulsa, and Texas A&M by Tennessee. Notre Dame would also likely have to repeat their defeat of Clempson. Tulsa taking out Cincinnati is eminently possible in my book, but the other two are clearly pie-in-the-sky. Florida beating Alabama, while not likely, probably wouldn't be enough. And even if all of this DOES happen, the fly in the ointment will likely be that the winner between Iowa State and Oklahoma would likely snag the spot ahead of CCU....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
