Outside of winless C-USA, the SEC has just about the WORST record among conferences in the bowls, though the ATMs DID put up an impressive performance against the Jordans....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

??? SEC was 6-2 in bowl play? ACC was 0-6 and PAC-12 was 0-2

And lost. So they got about the right amount of consideration for the playoffs. :coffee:

First it's Cincinnati didn't belong and will get destroyed, then after they almost win it's they lost so they didn't deserve consideration. notre dame and Clemson got their azzes kicked while aTm struggled early against a depleted UNC team so they must have been given too much consideration. If the natty's a blowout does that mean that FBS didn't even need a playoff this year?

UNI88 wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 5:20 pmOklahoma might have gotten a little consideration because of their strong finish. Florida was not really considered and neither was anyone ranked below them. The rankings show that the only teams seriously considered for the 4th spot were und and aTm. Put Cincinnati at 6 or maybe 7 and I would believe they were considered. Beelzebub must have intervened on und's behalf to give them the edge.

So JSO. That's it?

And you conveniently stopped his post short.
My guess is that Cincinnati is going to get destroyed by Georgia so that it will be clear that excluding them was not a bad thing. But we'll see. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way.
You're going to have to do better this year.

Are you saying you got one right? I'm happy you believe that - after a year of being wrong and getting your butt kicked you needed a win even if it was just pretend. Woohoo! 89 Rocks!

The committee got it right, not me. And I didn't get any portion of my ass kicked last year. :coffee:
