Who wins CFP championship?

If I go with power ratings it's Ohio State. Otherwise I'm biased by virtue of living in the Baton Rouge area and having a son that graduated from LSU so I recuse myself.

I realized I had to vote to see the results so I just voted for Ohio State based on what the power ratings say.

I think Clemson just has too much fire power and experience. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost, but if I had to wager my money, that's who it would be.

Clemson (unless they reject the littlest Flaggy's application).
So far he is 1 for 1 with acceptance from Penn State.

I'm going with Clemson. Lying in the weeds all season, getting no respect, except now when teams were trying to avoid them in the first round. They've been the best program in the country for like 3-4 years now, so I'm going with them.
If I had to pick a team I'd want to win, I'd go with LSU. The fact that they have a coach who sounds like he was hired straight out of "The Waterboy" is just a great story.

It won't be Ohio State. Sorry, but Clemson and LSU are just a completely different ball game from beating Wisconsin and Penn State.
In the end, I think LSU's offense will overwhelm Clemson in a great championship final.

Ohio St doesn't need to apologize for being in that grouping with Clemson and LSU - Ohio St is legit. I don't think they beat Clemson, but Ohio St is loaded in terms of talent and is every bit at the same level as Clemson and LSU.

The OSU/CU game will be unbearable. Two teams that I don't want to see in the final game is now unavoidable. What's worst: suffering ANOTHER year of Clempson fans being sore winners and having to hear Ohio State fans say they were robbed OR suffering through a year of Ohio State fans getting an inflated sense of self worth and Clempson fans complaining how they were robbed.

Look at Clemson's ranking in the SoS.
Look who is 20 spots ahead of them. Clemson plays a weak schedule. Ga. Tech, Wofford, FSU, Charlotte, Univ. SC, Syracuse, UNC - not a lot of heavy hitters. More than half of their schedule are cupcakes.

How about these power rankings..Clemson @ #2 but then you drop all the way down to get to the next ACC school. They beat 1 team (Texas A&M) in the top 20. They beat up Charlotte, Wofford and Univ. South Carolina.

My prediction -
The Clemson OC is way too focused on getting a jump on the recruiting process for his HC job next season and puts together a shitty game plan (maybe a bit of wishful thinking). They lose to OSU.
LSU waltzes through the first round and beats OSU in a tight NC game.

Who cares? This isn't a legit playoff, so it's not a legit championship.
The REAL D-I champion will be Weber State....

I think how healthy Ohio State's QB will be is a factor. I looked up 40 yard dash times at NFL Draft Scout. The guy is a 4.4 40 guy. He's a threat to make big plays running the football when he's healthy. Ohio State averaged 272 yards per game rushing and he was a big factor in that. He had a knee brace and was not what he's been against Wisconsin.
Will he be his normal self or at least near that against Clemson? I think that's going to be an important factor.

LSU. + I really like Oregon.
Bottom line, a team from the deep south will claim the 13th NC in the last 14 seasons.
